Northern Michigan Wasn’t Spared From The Heat

Another heat wave has affected Michigan once again although it is expected to be short-lived.  We should see cooler temperatures tomorrow and throughout the coming week.  Unfortunately, it will bring rain with it.  We have lucked with our weather so far and it has been dry with comfortable temperatures.  Yesterday was stifling however, with highs reaching the low 90s and high humidity.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 79°F (26°C), the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the southwest at 9 mph.  Skies are clear.  The dew point is 64°F (18°C) and the heat index is 81°F (27°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.00 in (1015.2 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 91°F (33°C) and the overnight low was 75°F (24°C).  Sunrise was at 6:27 AM and sunset will be at 9:00 PM.

Monday Night
