Another Clear, Frosty Morning – Mid Michigan

Another Clear, Frosty Morning – Mid Michigan

We have a sunny morning but it isn’t expected to last.  Clouds will move in this afternoon but temperatures should reach the low 50s with light winds.  That sounds like a pretty nice day to me.  We are expecting no precip until the weekend but they aren’t saying whether it will be rain or snow.  We are in the process of getting a new truck with 4-wheel drive.  I love our Fusion but it is terrible in snow.  Our new truck is a Chevy Colorado and we will still have our larger Chevy truck if it is needed.  I’ll be retiring in January from my hospital job, so hopefully, I won’t be needing to drive when the roads are bad.  I’m hoping for no major snowstorms before that.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 35°F (2°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the south at 3 mph.  The pressure is 30.27 in (1025.1 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 30°F (-1°C).  Viability is 10 miles and skies are clear.  Yesterday’s high was 49°F (19°C) and the overnight low was 29°F (-2°C).  Averages for this date are 55°F / 40°F.  Sunrise was at 8:01 AM and sunset will be at 6:38 PM.
