A Little Overnight Snow For Mid Michigan

A Little Overnight Snow For Mid Michigan

Friday was a drizzly, damp, gloomy day, but the temperature dropped enough at night to turn the rain into snow.  We only received about 1/10 of an inch but at least it brightened up the landscape a bit.   Highs today will only make it into the low to mid 30s with snow flurries in the forecast.  Here it is, just 4 days before Christmas and I’m not sure if I’m mentally ready yet.  It seems to come faster every year.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 81%, and winds are from the NW at 7 mph, giving us a wind chill of 20°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 29.86 in (1011.2 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 26°F (-3°C) and skies are cloudy.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Averages for this date are 33°F / 23°F.
