A Spring-Like Wednesday Before Another Bout Of Winter – Mid Michigan

Yesterday felt like a spring day with rain most of the day.  It began as freezing rain which didn’t last long, then rain and warm temperatures melted  whatever snow and ice that we had.  We can expect another round of light snow with very little accumulation today and tonight,.  More of an issue will be the temperatures.  Highs will only reach the teens and lows below zero to single digits for the remainder of January

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 26°F (-3°C), the humidity is 74%, and winds are from the NW at 5 mph.  The pressure is 29.74 in (1007.1 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles and the dew point is 20°F (-7°C).  Skies are overcast and we received 0.14″ of precipitation on Wednesday.  Yesterday’s high was 42°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C).  Sunrise was at 7:59 AM and sunset will be at 5:38 PM.
