Severe Winter Weather Next Week For Mid Michigan

We are already being warned about what’s ahead for us next week.   In fact, Wednesday may not even see highs much above zero,.  In addition to that, there will be strong winds making for a very dangerous wind chill and we could see snowfall of at least 6 inches on Monday.  I really don’t mind winter except for this kind of weather, and what’s worse is that there doesn’t seem to be much relief until early February.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is -4°F (-20°C), the humidity is 81%, and winds are calm.  The pressure is 30.17 in (1021.7 mb) and rising.  Skies are mostly clear and the dew point is-9°F (-23°C).  Yesterday’s high was 24°F (-4°C) and the overnight low was -8°F (-22°C).  Averages for this date are 26°F / 13°F.  Sunrise was at 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 5:41 PM.
