A Return To Winter In Mid Michigan

A Return To Winter In Mid Michigan

Yesterday was beautiful except for a very brisk wind.  At least we had normal temperatures and plenty of sun.  Today will be a different story.  It just started snowing when I got up at 8 AM, then it changed to rain.  Now it keeps changing between rain and sleet.  Our forecast is saying that we  could possibly get up to 3 inches of snow by the time it’s done.  Tomorrow the highs will be back in the 50s so it really doesn’t matter how much we get.  It will be gone very soon.

Right now (9:45 AM), we have 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 88%, and skies are overcast with a mix of rain and snow.  Winds are from the east at 7 mph and the pressure is 29.87 in and falling.  The wind chill is 29°F (-2°C) and visibility is 4 miles.  The dew point is 32°F (0°C).  Yesterday’s high was 53°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Averages for this date are 55°F / 36°F.  Sunrise was at 6:56 AM and sunset will be at 8:17 PM.
