Our August Camping Trip Is Almost Done – Northern Michigan

I can’t believe how quickly this past week has gone.  Our weather has been much nicer than at home.  It was quite stormy in southern Michigan once again with various severe storm warnings issued.  It seems, however, that most was thunder and lightning with very little rain.  Strangely enough, the humidity remained low and I think that most of the storms dried up quite a bit before reaching our county.  I’m seeing that a few areas received over an inch of rain.  At my house, it was only 0.07″.

Right now, the temperature in Topinabee is 68°F (20°C), the humidity is 78% and skies are partly cloudy.  The dew point is 62°F (17°C) and winds are from the NW at 4 mph.  The pressure is 29.88 in (1011.5 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 51°F (11°C).  Averages for this date are 76°F / 50°F.  Sunrise was at 6:47 AM and sunset will be at 8:38 PM.
