Back Home After A Week In Northern Michigan

Back Home After A Week In Northern Michigan

We had an uneventful drive home yesterday after a week of very nice weather up north.  Conditions there are very dry and they really need rain, but we were happy that the week saw very little while we were there.  I always hate coming home but we’ll be going back again in late September.  Our temperatures have really cooled off and highs today are expected to only reach the low to mid 70s.  Our local weatherman has assured us that the 80s aren’t gone quite yet.  Summer was so short-lived this year and I really hate to see it end.

Our 8 AM temperature is 55°F (13°C), the humidity is 93%, and skies are clear.  Winds are calm and the dew point is 55°F (13°C).  Visibility is 10 miles and the pressure is 30.17 in (1021.7 mb) and steady.  Sunrise was at 6:51 AM and sunset will be at 8:28 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 76°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (12°C).  Averages for this date are 80°F / 57°F.
