Winter Weather Continues in Mid Michigan

Our January-type weather continues with temperatures expected to be a little warmer today, but still no where near close to average.  There are some 40 degree days coming but even that is colder than average for this date.  I’m still optimistic in thinking that we will see Indian Summer happening over the next few weeks.  I’m probably wrong, but I can dream, can’t I?

Our 10 AM temperature is 29°F (-2°C), the humidity is 90% and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the SW at 6 mph giving us a wind chill of 23°F (-5°C).  Visibility is 5 miles.  The pressure is 30.16 in (1021.3 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 26°F (-3°C) and the overnight low was 26°F (-3°C).  We received about half an inch of new snow overnight.  Average temps for this date are 48°F/ 34°F.  Sunrise was at 7:27 AM and sunset will be at 5:14 PM.
