A Slight Warmup For Mid Michigan

Today seems almost balmy compared to what we have had.  Temperatures are above freezing and the snow is melting.  I took measurements this morning and our snow cover is down to 2.3 inches.  I’m surprised that we lost that much already.  It doesn’t seem like it was that warm the past few days.  Right now the sun is shining and it looks very pleasant out there.  Temperatures are in the upper 30s but that’s still below where it should be for this date.  We should see highs in the low 40s next week.

Our 2:30 PM temperature is 38°F (3°C), the humidity is 69%, and winds are from the NW at 8 mph.  The wind chill is 32°F (0°C)  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are partly cloudy.  The pressure is 30.29 in (1025.7 mb) and steady.    Yesterday’s high was 33°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Average temperatures are 47°F / 33°F.  Sunrise was at 7:28 AM and sunset will be at 5:13 PM.
