Dense Fog, Mild Temperatures For Our Tuesday – Mid Michigan

Although we have mild temperatures, visibility is down to less than a mile  We are expecting a period of near normal temps over the next week, and that’s a relief from what we have had.  Yesterday warmed up to near 50° for most areas and there was quite a bit of sun.  It was a very pleasant day.  All of our snow is gone except for where the snow piles are and they continue to melt away.  There are still some leaves left on the trees, especially the maples.  I don’t think that they believe that summer is over already.

Our 10:30 AM temp is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 99% and skies are overcast is fog.  The dew point is 39°F (4°C) and winds are calm.  The pressure is 29.80 in (1009.2 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 48°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Averages for this date are 45°F / 32°F.  Sunrise was at 7:33 AM and sunset will be at 5:09 PM EST.
