Normal Temperatures, Sunny Skies for our Weekend – Mid Michigan

It’s as if Mother Nature is trying to make up for what she did to us last week.  The forecast for this weekend is lovely and temperatures will be right around normal.  The rains yesterday took care of the remainder of our snow, and it’s now just a bad memory.  My burning bushes were just starting to turn red and the snow destroyed the few leaves that were turning.  Oh well, it could be worse.  Long term forecasts are not predicting anything extreme for us over the next month or so, and that’s a good thing.  Let’s leave our January weather until January.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 32°F (0°C), the humidity is 85%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the  NW at 10 mph, gusting to 16 mph.  The pressure is 30.06 in (1018.0 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles and the dew point is 28°F (-2°C).  The wind chill is 26°F (-3°C).  Yesterday’s high was 54°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C).  Averages for this date are 43°F / 30°F.  Sunrise was at 7:37 PM and sunset will be at 5:07 PM.
