Winter Storm Not So Bad – Mid Michigan

Winter Storm Not So Bad – Mid Michigan

Our winter storm was a bit of a fizzle from what was originally predicted and that’s fine with me.  We have about 4 to 5 inches on the ground depending where it is measured.  Today is still bringing a little lake effect snow showers but not enough to add to the snow pack.  Winds are very strong causing a lot of blowing and drifting and I’ve seen the sun trying to peek out a few times.  I’m just glad that I don’t have to go anywhere today.

Our 12:15 PM temperature is 25°F (-4°C), the humidity is 56%, and the winds are from the west at 10 to 18 mph.  Our wind chill is 14°f (-10°C).  Skies are cloudy with occasional light snow.  The pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 30°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 17°F (-8°C).  Averages for this date are 32°F / 18°F.  Sunrise was at 7:15 AM and sunset will be at 6:22 PM.
