Sunny, Bright, But Not Very Warm – Mid Michigan

It is really lovely to look out the window and see such a bright day.  We have total snow ground cover and it won’t be quite warm enough to melt much of it.  But temperatures are expected to rise into the 40s all next week, so I’m not expecting the snow to last long.  Tomorrow is meteorologically the first day of spring and I think that it will feel like it.  We can definitely notice more daylight and the sun rising higher in the sky these days.  I haven’t seen any robins yet but many are claiming that they’re back.  It should be a pretty nice week for us.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 42%, and winds are from the west at 7 to 13 mph.  Skies are mostly clear and visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 29.98 in (1015.2 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 14°F  (-10°C),  Yesterday’s high was 28°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 17°F (-8°C).  Sunrise was at 7:12 AM and sunset will be at 6:25 PM.  Average temps for this date are 34°F / 19°F.
