After Two Days Of Thunderstorms, Cooler Weather Has Arrived – Mid Michigan

Another line of thunderstorms passed over us late last night leaving us with an additional 0.96″ of rain.  Our total rain amount for the past two days is 2.53″.  It moved quite slowly from the NW to the SE bringing with it quite a light show and severe weather to some areas.  We lucked out with just the rain and plenty of lightning. It did put an end to the hot, very humid weather and the next week is expected to be quite comfortable.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 67°F (19°C), the humidity is 80% and the dew point is 62°F (17°C).  Winds are from the WNW at 6-12 mph and skies are cloudy.  The pressure is 29.59 in (1002.0 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 81°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C).  Sunrise was at 6:58 AM and sunset will be at 8:14 PM.

Today:  Becoming partly cloudy.  High 75°F. Winds NW at 14-16 mph.

Tonight:  Clear skies.  Low 55°F.  Winds light are variable.

Sunday:  Partly cloudy.  High 73°F.  Winds N at 5-10 mph.
