Another Gloomy But Fairly Mild Day In Mid Michigan

I think that our mild weather is coming to an end looking at the extended forecast on Christmas.  Tomorrow will probably be the warmest that we’ll see for awhile with highs expected to reach near 50F.  The high temp on Christmas is only expected to reach the mid 20s.  I’m wishing that these clouds would move out so that we get to see the Christmas star.  Some have already seen it but as usual, we have cloudy skies.  This always seems to happen when there is something interesting to see in the sky.  The Weather Channel is showing that we have a good chance of having a white Christmas, so we’ll just see.

Our 2 PM temperature is 36F (2C), the humidity is 78%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the southwest at 2-14 mph giving us a wind chill of 29F (-2C).  The dew point is 28F (-2C) and visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.20 in (1022.7 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 38F (3C) and the overnight low was 33F (1C).  Average temps for this date are 33F / 22F.  Sunrise was at 8:05 AM, and sunset will be at 5:05 PM.
