December Ending With Quiet, Normal Weather – Mid Michigan

This, being our last week of December, is quite uneventful.  There are no major storms or any significant weather in the forecast.  The little snow that we have is slowly melting and rain in the the forecast for tonight.  Temperatures will be about normal and we aren’t expected to see much sun over the next week.  That’s typical for Michigan at this time of year.  At least with some snow, it doesn’t seem so dreary out there.

Our 2:45 PM temperature is 35F (2C), the humidity is 73% and winds are from the NE at 1-7 mph.  The dew point is 27F (-3C), and the pressure is 29.89 in (1011.9 mb) and falling.  The wind chill is 30F (-1C).  Yesterday’s high was 28F (-2C) and the overnight low was 23F (-5C).  Average temps for this date are 32F / 21F.  Sunrise was at 8:06 AM and sunset will be at 5:08 PM.

Tonight:  A rain / snow mix developing .  Low 30F.  Winds SW at 16-18 mph, gusting to 29 mph.  Chance of precip 100%.  Little to no accumulations expected.

Monday:  Mostly cloudy with temperatures falling throughout the day.  High 32F early.  Winds WNW at 13-17 mph, gusting to 31 mph.
