Another Winter Weather System Heading Our Way – Mid Michigan

Although we are not under any watches or advisories yet, I’m expecting it to happen later on today.  This seems to be a repeat of last weekend.  We were only supposed to get 1-2 inches then, and that’s what they’re predicting for us tomorrow.  Last weekend, we got 4 inches and it has remained all week.  Temperatures have had a hard time making it to the freezing mark, and the only thawing that we’ve seen is where the sun was shining.  Even then it was sparse.  At least winds are fairly calm so it really isn’t too bad being outdoors.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 28F (-2C), the humidity is 69%, and winds are from the SE at 4-8 mph.  The wind chill is 23F (-5C) and the dew point is 17F (-8C).  The pressure is 29.87 in (1011.5 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are overcast.  Yesterday’s high was 25F (-4C) and the overnight low was 2F (-17C).  Sunrise was at 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 5:46 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:
