Very Warm And Dry In Mid Michigan

We need some rain badly. Farmers are getting their fields planted, and it is so dry that they are leaving clouds of dust behind their tractors as they work.  We have a chance of rain tonight and Sunday, and I’m hoping that it happens.  Today is hot with a moderate breeze.  That’s the only thing that makes it bearable.  Also the humidity isn’t really too bad.  Our high today could reach 90F which is about 20 degrees above average.  This is typical for Michigan . . . . freezing one week and using the AC the next.

Our 3:30 PM temperature is 85°F (29°C), the humidity is 41%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the ESE at 4-15 mph.  The dew point is 54°F (12°C), and the heat index is 86°F (30°C).  The pressure is 30.09 in (1019.0 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 86°F (30°F) and the overnight low was 61°F (16°C).  Averages for this date are 69°F / 47°F.
