Possible Severe Weather Heading Our Way – Mid Michigan

We are being warned that our weather could get pretty rough tonight and early tomorrow.  Right now, our skies are clear but it is quite windy.  Oklahoma got hit pretty hard yesterday but I haven’t heard how much damage was done.  Hopefully, we are spared tonight.  Our temperatures were very warm overnight and highs today are expected to reach the low to mid 80s.  We turned on the AC and this is the first time I ever remember doing that in October.  This weather has been unreal.  With these exceptionally warm temperatures, it is a perfect recipe for strong or severe storms.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 71°F (22°C), the humidity is 88% and skies are clear.  Winds are from the SSE at 3-12 mph and the pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 69°F (21°C).  Yesterday’s high was 78°F (26°C) and the overnight low was 64°F (18°C).  Average temps for this date are 64°F / 44°F.  Sunrise was at 7:44 AM and sunset will be at 7 PM.
