storms to Our North And West Totally Missed Us – Mid Michigan

After an absolutely beautiful Monday, clouds moved in late and storms affected the western portions of the state.  We got almost nothing as they moved in a northern direction.  Severe storm warnings were issued for a while but I haven’t heard of a lot of damage being done.  As for us, there was only 0:03″ in my gauge this morning.  We had clear skies to start the day but it is now overcast and looking like rain.  Radar, however, is showing nothing close to us or moving our way.  The summer temperatures are over now and I don’t think we’ll be seeing anymore 80 degree weather for a long time.

Our 1 PM temperature is 65F (18C), the humidity is 80%, and winds are from the SSW at 7-16 mph.  The dew point is 60F (16C).  The pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and rising.  Skies are overcast and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 81F (27C) and the overnight low was 64F (18C).  Averages for this date are 61F / 44F.  sunrise was at 7:46 AM and sunset will be at 6:59 PM.
