Wet Weather Returns For Mid Michigan

Yesterday was pleasant and rain free until the late afternoon.  A line of thunderstorms developed and moved over us giving us 0.17″ of rain.  After that, there was partial clearing which resulted in a beautiful, bright orange sunset.  More showers came overnight and continued through most of this morning.  Right now, the rain has stopped but clouds persist.  Temperatures are near normal for this date and they are expected to remain so most of this upcoming week.

Our 3 PM temperature is 61°F (16°C), the humidity is 81%, and winds are E at 0-4 mph.  Skies are overcast and visibility is 9 miles.  The dew point is 53°F (12°C) and the pressure is 29.75 in (1007.5 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 77°F (25°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (12°C).   Average temps for this date are 60°F / 43°F.  Sunrise was at 7:49 AM and sunset will be at 6:54 PM.

Today:  Overcast with a 21% chance of rain.  High 61°F.  Winds light and variable.

Tonight:  Overcast with occasional showers.  Chance of rain 60%. Low 48°F. Winds NW at 5-10 mph.

Saturday:  Becoming partly cloudy by afternoon.  A slight chance of a shower early.  High 56F.  Winds WNW at 10-20 mph.
