We woke to a white world this morning with about 1.5″ of new snow.  Highs today are expected to reach near the freezing mark, so I’m not expecting it to last long.  Also, we have a period of very warm weather coming next week with highs some days near 60°F.  But before that happens, our local meteorologist is predicting a storm on Saturday that comes close to being a “bomb cyclone”. https://www.mlive.com/weather/2021/12/storm-just-2-ticks-from-bomb-cyclone-over-michigan.html?fbclid=IwAR150QwnlZU9MK1u4v2pItrLFcNvvx7s2f6yfAgPFWvABSvgoYAPejP5lpI.  That certainly doesn’t sound good for our state.  But that will make us look forward even more to the big warmup next week.
