A Bright, Pleasant December Day In Mid Michigan

A Bright, Pleasant December Day In Mid Michigan

After all the wind yesterday, today is welcome even though our temperatures have dropped significantly.  In fact, they dropped from 62°F to 37°F in about 6 hours.  At least with temps back in the normal range, that should put an end to all of these storms that have plagued the country this past week.  Our sky has been cloudless all morning which makes for a lovely setting, but it is miserable driving with the sun so low in the sky.  We usually don’t get sunny days in December here in Michigan and maybe it’s a good thing that we don’t.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 37°F (3°C), the humidity is 62%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the WNW at 4-7 mph, and the dew point is 24°F (-5°C).  The pressure is 30-18 in (10.22 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 62°F (17°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 33°F / 23°F.   Sunrise was at 8:01 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
