Cloudy With Snow Flurries – Mid Michigan

Where we have snow, there is about half an inch.  But an earlier snow shower gave partial covering to the bare areas and not sure if we’ll get anymore.  There is a line of snow just to our north which seems to be moving away from us.  With temperatures what they are, there isn’t much melting.  Christmas day was supposed to be quite nice.  Now they are predicting rain.  That  isn’t what we wanted to hear since we are cooking our meat outdoors, but it is what it is.  We have received a special weather statement that roads could become slippery later, but I’m thinking that the snow may be finished for today.

Our 3:30 PM temperature is 32°F (0°C), the humidity is 71%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the SE at 3-11 mph and the dew point is 22°F (-6°C).  The pressure is 29.95 in (1014.2 mb) and falling.  The wind chill is 28°F (-2°C).  Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:06 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C), and the overnight low was 15°C (-9°C).  Average temps for this date are 33°F / 22°F.
