Christmas Eve Day In Mid Michigan

Christmas Eve Day In Mid Michigan

We aren’t going to have any snow for Christmas but I don’t really mind.  I haven’t really been in the Christmas spirit this year.  Maybe my surgery had something to do with it.  My knee is doing fine but still giving me some pain.  I guess I have to expect that.  Yesterday brought a brief snow shower which barely covered the bare spots on the lawn, but now we are back to melting mode again.  The forecast for tomorrow has changed and it is now suppose to rain.  Darn!  At least temps will be mild.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 43°F (6°C), the humidity is 88%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the SSE at 5-11 mph and the dew point is 41°F (5°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 29.60 in (1002.4 mb) and falling.  Sunrise was at 8:06 AM and sunset was at 5:06 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 35°F (°2C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C).  Average temps for this date are 32°F / 22°F.
