A Milder, Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan

Our weather today is actually quite pleasant.  There isn’t any sun but temperatures are right around freezing, and winds are light.  We had fog this morning limiting visibility to about a mile.  I’m hearing about a major winter storm moving in from the west, but at this time, it is expected to remain well to our south.  We could just get a few light snow showers as it passes by with no real accumulations.  We’ve been lucky so far this season, with no big winter storms.   We did have those few very blustery days  a few weeks ago but no large snow amounts.  At least we haven’t been buried in snow so far.  .

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 97%, and winds are from the NNE at 0-6 mph.  The wind chill is 31°F (-1°C).  The dew point is 30°F (-1C) and the pressure is 29.78 in (1008.5 mb) and steady.  Sunrise was at 8:06 AM and sunset will be at 5:25 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 37F (3°C), and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Average temps for this date are 29°F / 17°F.
