Another Sunny Day, But Bitter Cold – Mid Michigan

Another Sunny Day, But Bitter Cold – Mid Michigan

Clearing snow, even with a snowblower, is a lot of work when you have this much snow.  We have clear skies today, but with temps in the teens, it doesn’t do much to warm it up.  My husband finally got the snow removal finished and everything is back to normal.  There are a few warm days coming up next week where highs should rise above freezing.  I don’t think it will be warm enough to rid us of much snow, but at least it should be bare where we have shoveled and cleared.  My dog will appreciate that. We currently have about 9.5″ of snow cover.
Our 1 PM temperature is 22°F (-6°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the SSE at 1-5 mph.  The wind chill is 10°F (-12°C). The dew point is 12°F (-11°C) and visibility is 11 miles.  The pressure is 30.19 in (1022.4 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 16°F (-9°C) and the overnight low was -2°F(-19°C).  Average temps for this date are 28°F / 15°F.  Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 5:54 PM.
