Coldest Temps Of The Year – Mid Michigan

Coldest Temps Of The Year – Mid Michigan

We have had snow now for the past 3 days, and with it came very cold temperatures.  Highs will only reach the lower 20s today and the teens tomorrow.  We have a snow pack of 5.5 inches and it looks like that will remain for a while.  No thaw expected anytime soon.  We are still seeing a few snow flurries from time to time, but not enough to add to the snow pack.  That’s fine.  I’m happy with the snow amount that we have now.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 23°F, the humidity is 74%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the west at 7-16 mph, and the pressure is 30.18 in and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles and the wind chill is 8°F.  Yesterday’s high was 28°F and the overnight low was 22F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F / 15°F.  Record temps for Jan. 29 are 58°F / -16°F.
