Rain Moving In For This Afternoon And Tonight – Mid Michigan

We are expecting a good amount of rain for later today, tonight, and part of tomorrow.  I’m hoping that it will be warm enough to finally melt the large patch of ice that we have in our front yard.  Some has melted when the sun hits it, but that’s not too often.  Then the weather will turn cold again and snow is in the forecast for this weekend.  This is supposed to be spring and it seemed more like spring in February.  But seeing what’s happening in California, I won’t complain.

Our 2:30 PM temperature is 54°F (12°C), the humidity is 38%, and winds are from the SW at 3-15 mph.  The wind chill is 48°F (9°C) and the dew point is 35°F (2°C).  The pressure is 29.87 in (1011.5 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 37°F (3°C) and the overnight low was 44°F (7°C).   Average temps for this date are 47°F/25°F.  Record temps for March 15 are 75°F/6°F.  Sunrise was at 7:48 AM and sunset will be at 7:44 PM.
