A Cloudy, Windy, Miserable Day In Mid Michigan

We don’t have a very nice St. Paddy’s day here in Michigan.  Temperatures have been dropping since early this morning, and we are seeing light snow flurries.  The winds are brutal and it is not a nice day to be outdoors, for sure.  On the positive side, this cold spell will only last a few days, then a nice warmup once again.  We all know how bipolar Mother Nature is, so we just have to grin and bear it.  At least we aren’t getting tornadoes or floods.

Our 2 PM temperature is 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 84%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the west at 17-31 mph, and the wind chill is 25°F (-4°C).  The pressure is 30.00 in (1015.9 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 55°F (8°C) and the overnight low was 42°F (6°C).  Average temps for this date are 44°F/26°F.  Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 7:45 PM.
