Very Warm On This August Saturdy

Although we weren’t really expecting any rain today. I’m seeing some starting to form to our north and south on radar.  Scattered thunderstorms are in our forecast, so we may see a little rain today.  Our AC is not working so we are keeping the house closed up to keep the hot air out.  It’s doing a pretty good job.  Thankfully, we have good insulation.  Right now our indoor temp is 76°F, not bad considering that it’s 8°1F outdoors.  I’m hoping that it cools down significantly tonight and remains breezy so we can cool the house down once again.  Doesn’t this always happen on the hottest days, and on a weekend when nothing is open?

Our 3 PM temp is 81°F (27°C), the humidity is 48%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the NW at 3-8 mph and the dew point is 54°F (12°C).  The pressure is 29.91 in (1012.9 mb) and falling, and visibility is 14 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 81°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13C).  Normal temps for this date are 82°F/60°F.  The Air Quality Index is moderate at 51, and the UV Index is high at 7.  Sunrise was at 6:18 AM and sunset will be at 9:09 PM.  The real feel temperature is 87°F (31°C).
