Becoming Sunny . . . . . .

Becoming Sunny . . . . . .

Our morning began with clouds which then moved off to the north.  Now our sky is almost clear and it looks like it’s going to be a very nice day.  It could be a little warmer but it is lovely for late December.  This is the first day of our holiday warm-up, and temperatures on Christmas could reach the mid 50s.  This isn’t good for snow lovers but I think we’ll get our share before winter’s end.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 40°F (4°C), the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the ENE at 1-6 mph.  The pressure is 30.13 in (1020.3 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 24°F (-4°C).  Visibility is 13 miles and skies are mostly clear.  Yesterday’s high was 34°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 34°F/21°F.  Record temps for Dec 20 are 49°F (2011) and -1°F (2004).  Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:05 PM.
