Still, No Warmup . . . . .

Still, No Warmup . . . . .

Our forecast is calling for a little sun today, but haven’t seen any yet.  Temperatures remain much below where they should be and I’m really tired of it.  We still have about 2 to 2.5 inches of snow cover and I’m hoping for a day that’s warm enough to melt the ice on my deck.  My dog hopes so too.  Her little feet get so cold going out for just a few minutes.  Looking ahead at the forecast, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen until early next week.  I just hope that it stays with us when it comes.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 15°F, the humidity is 70%, and skies are cloudy.  Visibility is 11 miles.  Winds are from the SW at 7-17 mph and the wind chill is 3°F.  The dew point is 5°F and the pressure is 29.76 in and steady.  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  The record high for Jan 16 is 55°F set in 1949, and the record low is -17°F set in 1984. Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:29 PM.
