Snow, Wind, And Cold . . . .

Snow, Wind, And Cold . . . .

We woke this morning to a bit of a shock.  Everything was white!  I knew that we were expecting some snow, but I didn’t expect much ground cover.  We have about an inch and the snow showers should be ending soon.  In fact, the sun is now shining and forecasts call for the snow to end by noon.  Highs today won’t even reach the 40s, so I’m not sure how long this snow will last.

Our 10:45 AM temperature is 30°F (-1°C), the humidity is 84%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 5-15 mph and the pressure is 29.80 in (1009.2 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 25°F (-4°C) and visibility is 3 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 53°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2C).  Average temps for this date are 41°F/24°F.  Sunrise was at 7:58 AM and sunset will be at 7:38 PM.
