A Beautiful March Day . . . .

A Beautiful March Day . . . .

We have returned to warm, sunny weather.  Highs should reach the mid to upper 50s this afternoon, and we have more 60s coming over the next few days.  This has been a remarkable winter for us.  The most snowpack that we had was about 3 inches, and that melted in a few days.  All the snow from yesterday is gone, and we aren’t expecting any precipitation until Thursday.  There isn’t even any mention of snow.  Temps will be very mild, then cool off a little for the weekend.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 52F (11C), the humidity is 41%, and winds are from the SW at 6-12 mph.  The pressure is 29.99 in (1015.6 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 24F (-4C).  Visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 39F (4C) and the overnight low was 26F (-3C).  Average temps for this date are 42F/24F.  The record high for March 10 was 70F (21C) set in 2021, and the record low was  -15F (-26C) set in 1869.  Sunrise was at 7:56 AM and sunset will be at 7:39 PM.
