The severe thunderstorm watch area hasn’t quite reach us as yet, but I’m expecting it any time. Fox weather radar is showing it to hit us about 6 or 7 PM. I find the Fox radar to be most accurate when it comes to timing these storms. Right now, we have hazy sun but the clouds are becoming more dense. Yesterday, the rain moved in during the early afternoon, then became heavier as the day wore on. The heaviest came during the early evening up until about 9 PM. We received just under two inches of rain. So far today, it has been dry but it looks like we will get a little more. Temperatures are much cooler and that always makes me happy.
