Yesterday was just too hot to even step outdoors with highs reaching 93°F. Fortunately, thunderstorms will be passing through later today and bringing cooler air with it. On the down side, there is a chance for severe weather to develop. This morning is breezy and mostly cloudy. Walking outside is like going into a sauna. While my area is baking in 90° temperatures, heavy storms have wreaked havoc in Michigan’s Copper Country. My daughter lived in Houghton for three years and I’m so happy that she isn’t there now. Today won’t be as comfortable as yesterday with higher humidity and temperatures. Monday was absolutely gorgeous with highs in the upper 70s, light winds, and very low humidity. It was one of those days when you just didn’t want to come indoors. Even my dogs were asking to go out every 15 minutes or so. They don’t do that often. Today’s forecast called for a partly cloudy day, now that has changed. I’m really getting tired of rain and I hope that the entire summer isn’t like this.
