A Sunny Day After Christmas For Mid Michigan

A Sunny Day After Christmas For Mid Michigan

Our Christmas Day was actually very nice.  Temps were quite warm, light breezes, and no rain which was predicted.  We had great weather for cooking out and light jackets were adequate.  Today looks beautiful out the window, but a heavy coat is needed if one is going to be outdoors for any length of time.  There isn’t much wind so it’s quite pleasant.  I love this weather.  I could live with this all winter long.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 76%, and skies are clear.  There was a heavy frost last night and some still remains in shady areas.  Winds are from the NNW at 1-6 mph, and the dew point is 27°F (-3°C).  The pressure is 30.11 in (1019.7 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 11 miles.  Sunrise was at 8:07 AM and sunset will be at 5:08 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 49°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-7°C).  Average temps for this date are 32°F / 22°F.
