A Little Sun, But Now More Clouds – Mid Michigan

There was hope for a little sun this morning, and for a while, the sky was almost completely clear.  Unfortunately, it didn’t last very long.  But some sun is better than none.  Right?  Today is expected to be dry until tonight, then scattered rain and snow showers will move in.  Temperatures will remain well above average for a while longer, possibly until the end of the month.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 39°F, the humidity is 76%, and winds are from the west at 2-9 mph.  The wind chill is 33°F and the dew point is 30°F.  The pressure is 29.95 in and rising and visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 44°F and the overnight low was 35°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F / 15°F.  Record temps for Jan. 17 are 60°F / -25°F.  Sunrise was at 8:04 AM and sunset will be at 5:30 PM.

Thursday
Rain, mainly before 10am. High near 45. East wind 7 to 14 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
