Today began with clouds, fog, and rain. There is a low pressure center sitting over Lake Michigan producing this rainy weather, although we are still hanging on to much-above normal temperatures. It seems like a day in early September rather than October. We have received 0.28″ of rain since 8:30 yesterday morning and it looks like this will be the order of the day. This has been a dark and gloomy, wet day since the beginning. The rain has been intermittent but with the humidity and high dew point, the air feels very wet even when the rain isn’t falling.
