We received just enough snow to turn the ground white, about quarter of an inch. It does seem brighter out his morning even with the clouds. We were under a freezing rain advisory Tuesday although freezing mist was what we got. It began late in the morning and continued most of the day. Many of the schools are closed today and areas just to our north received more rain than we did. There wasn’t even enough in the gauge to measure. Winter Storm Gia is moving eastward and will be affecting the nation’s capitol today. The southwest portions of our state received up to 3 inches in various places but nothing here in Mid-Michigan.
