Mid Michigan Weather

This morning is starting out damp and cloudy but the sun is expected to make a showing later this afternoon.  Temperatures could reach near the 50 mark, so it should be a lovely afternoon.  Unfortunately, it isn’t going to last through our Easter weekend.  And to make things worse, our first week of April is expected to bring more winter weather including some accumulating snow.  Winter just doesn’t’ want to let go this year. We have finally received some rain although we could use much more.  There was 0.21″ in my gauge at 8 AM and it is still sprinkling.  Radar is showing much more to come.  This week will see above average temperatures, then cooling off once again for Easter weekend.  There is even the possibility of snow or rain/snow mix, something that most of us don’t want to hear. This morning is very chilly with temps in the teens.  We did have a lovely sunrise which compensates a bit, but it would certainly be nice for warmer weather to arrive.  Our snow is gone except for shady areas and we’re hoping that there will be no more this season.
