Rain began yesterday in the afternoon and it hasn’t let up since. There was 0.64″ in my rain gauge at 8:30 this morning and it has been raining ever since. What’s worse is that we are expecting snow tonight, although it isn’t expected to stick. Our past four Halloweens have been rainy, but this one will be nasty. Yesterday turned out to be a bright, beautiful day except for the wind. Regardless, we went for a ride to a cider mill in St John, and enjoyed the colors on the way. Our morning began with cloudy skies, but since then, it has cleared up nicely and with the tree color, it is gorgeous outdoors.
