Yesterday was sunny but very cold. The low temp on my weather station read 0°F yesterday although temps from the airport showed 4°F as the low. Yesterday was cloudy with light snow falling most of the day. The heavier snow came later and overnight. We got what was predicted (3-6 inches) and I’m happy with that. Our morning has seen temperatures falling since early morning and the snow is expected to begin late this afternoon. Most local meteorologists have settled for a forecast of 3-6 inches for most of southern lower Michigan. My picture is what I saw this morning at 4:30 as I looked out my window. We did receive a little over 2 inches of heavy, wet snow which was hard shoveling.
