Yesterday was sunny but very cold. The low temp on my weather station read 0°F yesterday although temps from the airport showed 4°F as the low. Yesterday was cloudy with light snow falling most of the day. The heavier snow came later and overnight. We got what was predicted (3-6 inches) and I’m happy with that. Our morning has seen temperatures falling since early morning and the snow is expected to begin late this afternoon. Most local meteorologists have settled for a forecast of 3-6 inches for most of southern lower Michigan. My picture is what I saw this morning at 4:30 as I looked out my window. We did receive a little over 2 inches of heavy, wet snow which was hard shoveling. Our Christmas Day was actually very nice. Temps were quite warm, light breezes, and no rain which was predicted. We had great weather for cooking out and light jackets were adequate.
